The Council is back from summer recess and their first legislative meeting is Tuesday, September 17th...and Jack's corruption is still on full display.

Over the summer recess, it was revealed that Councilmember Evans harassed and intimidated Metro the employees who were investigating him. And recently, journalists uncovered that the Council investigation into his corruption may be delayed because of witness uncooperation, including the Councilmember's.

I'm calling to say that Councilmember Evans using his position on the Metro Board to intimidate employees investigating him is unacceptable. And he should not be allowed to interfere with the Council investigation. The Chairman must do more to hold Jack Evans accountable for his ethics issues. Please remove Councilmember Evans from all committees immediately and ensure a thorough Council investigation is released without delay.
