Thank you for your interest in auditioning for GRADS' Summer Shakespeare season of Macbeth. If you cannot attend at any of the available times, please email the director to request instructions for submitting a video audition (email address listed in audition pack). Video auditions are due by 4:30pm on Sun 9th Nov.

Audition details

Dates:
- Fri 7th Nov 2025 from 6pm-9:30pm
- Sat 8th Nov & Sun 9th Nov 2025 from 9:30am-4:30pm
- Callbacks on Tue 11th Nov 2025 from 7pm-9pm
Venue: Moot Court, Law Building courtyard, UWA
Instructions: Present a warm reading of one of the extracts from the Macbeth audition pack. You are expected to be familiar with the text, but you do not have to memorise it for the audition. Please perform the extract in your natural accent.

Important dates

Performance dates: Wed 11th – Sat 14th March & Wed 18th – Sat 21st March 2026
Read-through and cast meet & greet: Tue 6th Jan 2026
Rehearsals commence: Thu 8th Jan 2026
Rehearsals to be held on Tue & Thu evenings (7pm-10pm) and Sun afternoons (12pm-4:30pm)

Content warning: Macbeth contains violent themes, including references to suicide and child/infant death.

NB: Write down your audition date and time when you book. The director will send you an email confirming your audition details upon receiving your booking.
