Reformation Sunday, October 25th at 11:00 am.
Come to Faith Lutheran Church for outdoor worship on Reformation Sunday, October 25th, at 11 am.
This 20-minute service with Holy Communion will bless and dedicate all the renovations to our church building. Join us to give thanks to God, and to thank the volunteers who did amazing work on the red roof, windows, re-painting, caulking and more.
In order to maximize safety, the Church Council plans to limit the number of worshipers to 25 who will sign up ahead of time; if more people sign up, we will offer a second identical worship service at 12 noon. We will use physical distancing and masks if closer than 6 feet. Music will be played (no singing); bring a fun percussion instrument (95 instruments, for Luther's 95 Theses?) We will be mostly standing; bring your own chair if you need one.
Pastor Nancy Gradwohl will preside for a COVID safe Eucharist at the close of the service; Rev Dr Barbara Rossing will have fun dedication sketches based on Old and New Testament verses.
Worship service will happen rain or shine. Wear red for Reformation, and dress warmly!
