Call-in to Gov. Cuomo - Add PTSD to the Compassionate Care Act
The medical marijuana program in New York is one of the strictest in the country and is limited to just 10 qualifying health conditions. This is a denial of access to thousands of patients who could benefit from this treatment option, including veterans and others suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Please take 3 minutes to call Governor Cuomo at 518-474-8390 to let him know that PTSD should be added to the list.
Sample script: "Governor Cuomo, I am calling today to urge you to immediately add Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to the list of qualifying conditions under the Compassionate Care Act. People are suffering needlessly without access to medical cannabis. Support veterans and other patients and add PTSD now."
After you make your call, please post to the CCNY FaceBook page (https://www.facebook.com/CompassionateCareNY?fref=ts) to let us know you called and to spread the word, and encourage your friends and family to do the same!
